Organic Endeavors.

All of my previous brews of kombucha have been used with conventional tea and tap water. I finally decided to break down and try out using organic tea and filtered water. So, why not go an extra step and try out two different kinds of organic tea?

After fermenting both organic black and green brews of kombucha, I have to say that this is my most tastiest, most pure, and most flavorful kombucha brew I have made yet. All of my previous brews had a funny aftertaste to them. Organic really does make a huge difference! No after taste, just pure kombucha goodness! :)

Spicy Raw Truffles!

One of my latest raw food obessions is spicy chocolate date balls! They are ohhh so yummy and provide that cravable lucious flavor of cocoa with a smooth creamy filling.

These are super easy to make, and super good for you too!

I grind about 1/2 cup each of raw pecans and cashews in a food processor and set it aside. Then I blend up about 1 1/2 cups of coarsely chopped dates and about 1/4 cup of water, 2 tbsp of honey, and 2 red jalapeno peppers until the it is all blended well. Then I add about 3/4 cup of cocao powder to the mixture and mix until all is blended.

It will end up super sticky, but I roll these around in dried coconut and it makes a most delicious shell to hold it all together. Very, very, very good! :)
